The Dachstein West ski region with its sensational views to the Dachstein and other impressive mountain ranges runs along the Dachstein Mountains and is situated in the snowy border area between the Dachstein-Salzkammergut world heritage region and Salzburger Land.

Because of its function as a geographical barrier to the north, the largest ski region in upper Austria offers a guarantee of snow unique at this altitude in the Alps.
The central ski resorts of Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg are connected by more than 80 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes and descents for all ability levels. In particular the contiguous Panoronda ski circuit with a total length of 44 km offers an awe-inspiring glimpse of the world heritage region. Cosy ski chalets and mountain villages, which have preserved their originality and traditions predominate in the Dachstein West region. The offer is supplemented by 5 further ski regions, which are located in the Dachstein West ticketing network with a total of 160 kilometres of pistes, including the Freesports Arena Dachstein Krippenstein, an Eldorado for free-riders and the departure point for many ski tours. The purchase of a several-day card of at least 1.5 days, entitles you to use all the lifts in the entire ticketing network.
