The Dachstein West ski region with its sensational views to the Dachstein and other impressive mountain ranges runs along the Dachstein Mountains and is situated in the snowy border area between the Dachstein-Salzkammergut world heritage region and Salzburger Land.

The central ski resorts of Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg are connected by more than 80 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes and descents for all ability levels. To provide variety, as well as the family descents there are a racing track, mogul pistes, powder snow pistes, snow and fun parks and much more.
In particular the contiguous Panoronda ski circuit with a total length of 44 km offers an awe-inspiring glimpse of the world heritage region.
